George Nicholls is a British filmmaker and cinematographer predominantly working in documentary and factual television. George has worked on a vast span of films, ranging from the underground worlds of bare-knuckle boxing to the catwalks of the most prestigious fashion shows in the world. He has also shot in a multitude of challenging environments, from the sub-zero temperatures of the Arctic to the high altitudes and soaring deserts of Peru. This comes with a wealth of experience filming with high-profile contributors and difficult subject matter. George strives to tell attentive and powerful stories, using a cinematic approach to his filming that always seek to connect and resonate with its audience.
George has most recently worked on an upcoming feature documentary for Passion Pictures, a documentary following Academy award winning artist Charlie Mackesy, as well as the Grierson nominated documentary, A Space in Time.
